I had spent for the monthly repairs and it resulted in
atrocious cash flow. The insurance was too costly and I couldn't get refunds since I had bought the property just a few months ago. Now, I was trying to contact the agent and the past owner, but I was having difficulty buzzing them up. Funny thing is, if the apartment was cheap I would have suspected something risky was going on. But that's just about the lesson of the day. Turn all the rocks to see if there were cockroaches. Keep track of the history and owner's whereabouts until you're not sure you're buying a cool property, which I forgot to do.
