I was lookign for
my Nokia 6600 when suddenly I saw this newspaper. It's been a week since the last time I checked the news because I was so hooked with my job. I immediately got the newspaper and scanned the news. My attention was caught by a news on real estate. According to the news, it's no secret the housing market is slowing. That is according to Tom Dobron, president and CEO for Innovative Communities, a builder based in the San Diego area. Innovative Communities, a company with 86 employees, formulates to take advantage of its small size and agility to successfully navigate the transitioning real estate market. Tom Dobron, is just one of the 34,000 industry professionals who are participating a builders' conference this week at San Francisco's Moscone Center.
Dobron emphasized that the
main problem that the industry is facing is constructing costs. He noted that most of the materials have increased their costs. As an effect, they are being pressured because there are other things that they need to address like labor costs. He noted that they their company recognized the need to drive costs down and subcontractors needed to cut their costs to help builders stay competitive.
