More affordable than single-family homes, appealing amenities to or first-time or low-income buyers, condominiums are considered as
attractive alternatives to building your
dream house. The maintenance and
repair responsibilities are good for people who don't have time or aren't interested in such chores.
There are things to consider if you want to buy a condominium and be a full-time resident. First, you have to be a nice neighbor. You will stay with a lot of people in one floor; you will share the elevator with them and see them everyday at the swimming pool, gym, or other amenities the building offers. You have to follow the building's premise too.
The management has rules from their association's officers to the allocation of parking spaces and the use of recreational facilities. Owners who fail to follow the rules can be fined but if you are willing to follow it, you are ready to live in a condominium. Be ready for
joint financial responsibilities too with your neighbors for repairs, landscape projects and parties. If the condominium has associations, be willing to join, you will meet more people and gain respect from your neighbors. Now..do you think you are condo-ready?
